As a result of her outstanding educational accomplishments, Anna Erickson, assistant professor, has been selected to receive the 2016 Lockheed Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award. The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding educators from among the untenured junior faculty from the Georgia Tech Schools of Aerospace Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and the College of Computing. Award recipients are selected for extraordinary effectiveness in classroom teaching, educational innovations, inspiration transmitted to students, direct impact and involvement with students, and impact on the postgraduate success of students.

The generosity and leadership of Lockheed Martin has made this award possible. Dr. Erickson will be recognized at a faculty awards ceremony with Lockheed Martin that will occur in the Spring.
